The catalogue info is current and the attachments are old guides that I created a while back but are still valid. They still apply now; only that It is named Google drive as opposed to Google File Stream.
With Google Drive for Desktop. installed on Windows or Mac desktops and notebooks, you access your documents stored in your personal Google Drive, or in Google Shared Drives, via a handy drive mapping in the device's file explorer program. Any files you want to use from the cloud are then streamed to your Mac or PC on-demand.
Any changes you or your collaborators make, are automatically updated everywhere. You’ll always have the latest version. You can also make Drive files available for offline access. These cached files sync back to the cloud when you're online.
For BYOD Windows computers and Macs, you can get Google Drive for Desktop from its webpage. For eT4L Windows computers, please request it from the eT4L Software Catalogue (link works at school only) to add and deploy it from UDM.
