We are learning about the beach environment and how it supports the lives of people and living things.
We are learning how people can use the beach more sustainably.
These learning tasks have been created to introduce students to the beach environment. The students will call on their own knowledge, study a particular beach site using photographs and websites, think of the importance of sustaining a beach environment and create ways to keep it sustainable.
By the end of the activities the students should be able to recall what a beach environment consists of and how important it is to sustain the beach environment and how the students can personally take steps to do this.
