How do koalas interact with each other? What is their habitat?
Create an informative poster that includes information about the Koala’s habitat, diet and what they look like. Make sure you only use facts.
Rainbow Write
Write your 5 spelling words in a book using a different coloured pencil for each letter.
Listen to Koala Lou read aloud for the second time. While you are listening, look for two different emotions that Koala Lou shows. How do you know she is feeling that certain emotion?
Draw a picture of the two different
emotions. Under the picture write words that describe that emotion. Use these words in sentences.
Look at an example that Mrs O’Neill has shared.
Write a story using a Koala as your main character. Think about the setting of your story (the place where it happens). What will be the problem in your story and how will your character solve it?
Write at least three sentences and draw a picture to illustrate your writing.

Daily warm up: This week’s warm up is skip counting by 2’s, 5’s and 10’s starting at 0 how far can you go up and back? Then sing along to our song of the week.
Choose your board from below to make as many addition and subtraction problems as possible.
Board 1 - Example: 4+2=6
Board 2 - Example: 20+36=56
Draw a 3x3 grid as a game board. Each player takes turns to roll the dice and write the number in one of their boxes. The goal is to be able to write two or more numbers in each box that combine to make 10. Players continue taking turns until a player has been the first to make 3 tens in a row.
Grab a deck of cards and a partner. Take turns turning over two cards from the deck. Add the cards together, then add ten. Record the number. The person with the highest number is the winner of the game.
Roll two dice and write the number sentence. Make up an addition problem of your own that you can work out in your head. Write the number sentence and show how you solved the problem.
