Too Hard? Write out a number line like this (0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7). Have your child find number they rolled on the number line and then record the number one more (after) and one less (before).
Need a little help? If your child gets stuck on one number, get them to count from 1 to help them find the answer.
Want a Challenge? Use an online number generator and have your child complete the same activity with higher numbers. Try to play with numbers between 10 - 20 or 20-30 or even 40 -50.
Make 6 cards using a piece of paper. On each card, draw dots similar to those on a dice. Flash the cards for 3 seconds. Get your child to tell you the number of dots they see and how they saw them?
Can you use a something from around your house to make the following shapes: circle, square, triangle, rectangle? You could use a ribbon, a pipe cleaner, a piece of cooked spaghetti. Talk about how many sides each shape has.

Using recycled materials and other things you might find at home, make a model of your favourite minibeast.
Materials that you may have: empty boxes, water bottles, wool, string, foam, paper plates, cotton balls, sticky tape, glue, pipe cleaners, playdough.
Maracas
Make your own maraca: Pour a handful of rice/ beans or small rocks into a plastic bottle.
Turn on your favourite music and play along.
Scarf dancing
You will need a ribbon, scarf, or pillowcase. Move your ‘scarf’ to music and make lines or shapes high above your head/ in front of you /down near your feet.
Paper Dancing
Put a piece of paper on your head-Turn up your favourite music LOUD!
