What can you do? What can your family do? You can make your own ‘I Can book’.
Collect some leaves, ask mum or dad to write the letters of the alphabet on the leaves. You can then make some body words.
Find a container with a lid, milk bottle, plastic jar or take away container. Put in some rice or pasta, or make two. Shake them. What does your shaker sound like? If you did make more than one, do they sound different? Shake it fast, slow, soft and hard. Does the sound change?

Kee’an Indigenous Traditional Game
In areas of North Queensland a game of throwing skill was played. A large sized animal bone was thrown over a net used to catch emus and into a pit or a hole.
Children throw the ball in the sock over the string, aiming for the bucket. When you get the ball in the bucket, you get one point.
Equipment A piece of string tied between two chairs, a ball in a sock or stocking and a bucket or hoop.
