In March 2025, all parents of young people in the BGE (S1-S3) were invited to complete a survey on Tracking, Monitoring and Reporting.

As a result of this, we have:

• Maintained our current structure of two tracking reports per year

• Introduced in-person parents' meeting to replace consultation calls in session 25-26

• Planned for specific Literacy and Numeracy Family Learning sessions to support further understanding of attainment in these key areas

• Modified our Improvement Plan for this session to place an emphasis on the need for a shared pupil and parent understanding of BGE progress

At the request of our pupils, we also surveyed all parent of young people in S3 and S4 about their view on dress code in the senior phase. As a result of this, whilst the basic dress code remains unchanged, we now also offer a formal senior tie option for senior phase learners.
