The Autism Toolbox provides an extensive collection of information and resources to support the inclusion of autistic learners in Scotland across all settings. Both Autism Toolbox and Thirdspace (the sites below) provide resources to support Autistic learners:
SCERTS is a framework for assessment and planning for individuals with a range of additional support needs, including autism, who require additional/ targeted support. SCERTS can be used alongside CIRCLE to support the delivery of Curriculum for Excellence.
Some practitioners in East Lothian, particularly those in our specialist settings have already received training in the use of SCERTS.
