PRACTICAL ASSIGNMENTS (70%)
You will need to pick two of the contexts outlined below and create a 4-7 minute project combining both contexts into one project. You will have complete free choice on what your project looks like within these contexts. You must plan your project, implement the project (recording your progress throughout) and evaluate your work. This assignments is completed in class and submitted to the SQA in April for marking.
LISTENING EXAM (30%)
You will study 20th/21st century music in class throughout the year focusing on styles/genres, controls/effects/processes, recording techniques and music concepts. You will then complete a listening exam at the same time as the other SQA exams in May.
