Bikeability Scotland is the national cycle training programme for school children, supporting the next generation of confident responsible road users. ELC Outdoor Learning Service offer free Instructor time to deliver programmes tailored to every local authority primary school.
The on road cycle programme is delivered over several sessions/days lasting around 5-7 hours, depending on class and year group size. Sessions require up to four trained adults, with additional support for the on road learning.

If you are keen to create a sustainable approach, perhaps as part of your Eco-Schools status, Active Travel or Learning for Sustainability plans, Bikeability Scotland Instructor training is available free to schools, and can be incorporated in to your programme. Courses are regularly added to the Outdoor Learning training calendar.
