Russian for Primary, Beginner level, available on Monday :
This course is designed for primary school students who are learning Russian as a foreign language. It introduces children to the basics of Russian through fun and interactive activities. Students will learn simple everyday vocabulary, basic phrases, pronunciation, and early speaking skills. The course also develops listening, reading, and writing foundations through songs, games, role-play, picture-based tasks, and short dialogues, helping children build confidence and enjoy learning Russian.
Russian for Primary, Mother Tongue level, available on Thursday :
This course is designed for students in Years 4 to 6 who speak Russian as their mother tongue. It focuses on developing key language skills such as grammar, sentence structure, reading and comprehension, writing, spelling, and vocabulary building through a variety of texts and engaging tasks.
Russian for Primary, Mother Tongue level, available on Friday :
This course is for primary school students who speak Russian as their native language. In class, children learn to read and write, recognise letters, and form simple words and sentences. The course follows the early stages of the Russian school programme and helps students develop basic reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in a clear and simple way.
Russian for Secondary, Intermediate and Advanced level available on Monday :
This course is designed for students of Russian as a foreign language at a confident upper-intermediate level. It focuses on developing spoken fluency, improving reading skills through literary texts, and expanding vocabulary and grammatical accuracy. Students will also explore Russian culture, history, and the arts, gaining a deeper understanding of cultural context while strengthening their overall language proficiency.
Russian for Secondary, Mother Tongue level available on Monday :
This course is designed for students in Years 8 to 12 whose mother tongue is Russian. The programme follows the curriculum of secondary school in the Russian education system
Russian for Secondary, Beginner level, available on Thursday :
This course is designed for middle school students who are learning Russian as a foreign language. It introduces learners to the foundations of the Russian language, including basic grammar, pronunciation, and essential vocabulary for everyday communication. Students will practise simple dialogues, learn common phrases, and develop confidence in speaking and listening. The course also covers early reading and writing skills, helping students build a strong base for further language study through structured lessons and engaging activities.
Russian for Secondary, Mother Tongue level, available on Thursday and Friday :
This course is designed for students in Years 7 to 8 who speak Russian as their mother tongue and already have a basic knowledge of grammar and spelling in line with the Russian education system. It focuses on developing key language skills such as grammar, sentence structure, reading and comprehension, writing, spelling, and vocabulary building through a variety of texts and engaging tasks.
