📖 Bio : I am a bilingual educator (English and Spanish) and Literacy Instruction Specialist with over 20 years of experience helping children develop strong language, reading, and writing skills in multicultural and international settings. My lessons combine play-based learning, storytelling, movement, games, and structured literacy instruction to create engaging, individualized learning experiences.
I hold degrees in Multicultural Education and Literacy and Special Education, along with specialized training in English language teaching and literacy instruction. I have extensive experience supporting both native and non-native English speakers, including students with dyslexia and other learning differences. Originally from the United States and having lived in Argentina before settling in the Geneva area in 2007, I understand the challenges and opportunities of learning a new language. As an educator and parent of three children, I strive to create a warm, supportive environment where children build confidence, develop strong literacy skills, and foster a lifelong love of learning.
