The trip to Valencia was a really fun experience. We didn’t have many activities which was a good thing, it wasn’t really exhausting. On the first day we explored the Historic center of Valencia, where we looked around the center, looking at the buildings. We walked around making jokes, exploring the city together and learnt about it. We also got ice-Cream in the center. There, we decided to challenge ourselves and order our food in Spanish, which was half a successful but fun experience. After that we checked in the hotel, and the moment we went inside we all had our eyes locked on one thing: the pool table.
There was a pool table at the hotel and everyone just started playing pool, there were 10 people on one table. We spent the whole night playing pool and UNO with the teachers, which was also an interesting experience. It was intriguing to see the teachers not being teachers. The next day we went to the Museum of Arts and Science, where we learnt interesting things about Sound, waves, astrophysics and living organisms. The museum was made in a really beautiful and unique structure making it look like we were 20 years in the future. After the museum, we had lunch in the museum and then we departed for the thing we all were waiting for-
THE BEACH!!
Even before the trip started we were really excited about it, The main thing we were excited about was the water sports- paddling, surfing, kayaking, we never did these sports in our lives before and we were excited to learn them and explore, so on the second day we did paddling on a lake. It was difficult at the start, we couldn’t figure out the “Physics”, but then we got the hang of it, we paddled all around the lake and then we stopped and the guides made us do some challenges like backflips on the paddle, turning around in one try, etc. After that we did Mega Paddle, which is a paddle but on a big paddle and you have more people. We raced with the other groups, we did a challenge where we were 2v2 and we had to make the other pair fall in the water. We won both of them. But the best challenge was making a pyramid on the paddle where the head of our school went at the top of it. We made a full pyramid in the middle of a lake on a paddle - that was insane. After that we were so exhausted by the paddle that we skipped doing wind-surfing. After that we returned to our hotel, freshened up and had dinner and then ended the day with hanging out with our classmates. The next day we went to the Aquarium, we looked at different marine animals, and leant a lot about them. After that we went to the historic center again to do some shopping and we hung out at the park playing football, with the other students and teachers.
The next day we went to play Golf and mini-golf in the morning which wasn’t that interesting in my opinion, but we still managed to learn it and play some good shots. After golf we again went to the beach this time we went surfing, and that was the best activity out of all, it was really difficult, catching the wave and standing up was a challenge, but at the same time it was really fun. We truly enjoyed it, after that we went kayaking which wasn’t as fun as surfing but it was still a good experience, we raced from one point to another which we lost. After that we were so excited we just chilled at the beach, getting tanned and waiting for the day to get over. As it was our last night, our teachers decided to throw a party for us, so once we returned to the hotel, we all showered and went to the party, which was fun. The best part was watching teachers dance with the funny outfits they were wearing.
The next day, which was the last day of the trip, was a really sad day, because our plane was earlier than usual so we had to leave early, and the whole day the whole group was sad that the trip ended so quickly. We all truly enjoyed the trip, making jokes with friends and teachers, all the activities, funny events. Great memories were made by everyone, definitely we won't forget about this trip ever in our lives.
