The Return of the Notorious Conor McGregor

It’s a great moment for all UFC and combat sports fans, one of the most loved and popular fighters of all time is ready to get back in the octagon for one more spectacular fight. I am talking about “The Notorious” Conor McGregor. He will go against another great fighter called Michael Chandler to create one of the biggest and most viewed events of 2023. 

Even though there is no precise date yet for the fight, we are all 99 % sure that it will happen and that it won’t disappoint. When two fighters of their level and popularity decide to face each other in the octagon, you know that you can expect an amazing show and fight. 

Before talking about the fight, let’s have a better look at the two fighters: 

Conor McGregor is an Irish professional mixed martial arts artist (MAA) and former professional boxer. He was able to gain a worldwide fan base and reputation throughout his fights in the UFc and he is considered by many, one of the most entertaining fighters in the UFC’s history due to his trash talking against the opponents and very strong personality. He is mostly feared and known for his boxing skills and striking, but at the same time his ground skills achieved through a lot of jiu jitsu training are very underrated by the public. In 2015, he became the first ever fighter in UFC history to hold titles in two different weight divisions at the same time, those were featherweight and lightweight. His professional record is 22- 6 -0.

Michael Chandler is an American professional mixed martial arts artist (MAA). He first gained some popularity in the Bellator MMA promotion where he became a three time Bellator lightweight world champion. He later joined the UFC in 2021, where he became one of the best and most wanted fighters of his weight class thanks to his explosive and surprising debut. As a difference from McGregor, his best fighting traits are wrestling and Brazilian jiu jitsu. His professional record is 23- 8 -0.

Both fighters have an amazing opportunity to win the fight and earn an unthinkable amount of money and popularity. Personally I think that it will be a very close fight since both fighters have been training hard and are very determined to win. Moreover, my personal prediction is that Conor will be able to show better strength and win the fight which will end with a TKO around the end of the second round.

In conclusion, we are all waiting impatiently for this amazing fight to happen and to see if the incredible and feared man called the “The Notorious Conor McGregor '' will be able to give us a show just like he used to do.
