The Perfect Greek Summer

The perfect Greek summer would be in a place with people you love, and a nice beach close to your home. For me this place is in a small village in Halkidiki called Gerakini. It's a place I've been going to every summer since I was a baby. Every time I go, the first thing I do is run to the beach with my friends and spend hours with them swimming and catching up, since I only see them during the summer. We then go to our houses to eat lunch and after that, since we live pretty close to each other, we meet in someone's house in the evening. There, we play card games for a few hours until it's time to go out. There aren't many places to go to, but as long as you have a big friend group you'll always find something to do. There are multiple food places for Greek traditional food like gyros. You'll probably be able to make friends fast since Gerakini is a small village and you will therefore probably see the same people very often while you stay there. 

Gerakini is a great place to have a bonding moment with your friends all the while being relaxed and enjoying your summer!
