Important Safety Changes for the 26-27 School Year!
Start preparing now for these important safety changes!
To help enhance safety across our campus, students will be required to use clear or mesh bags, as well as clear water bottles with lids only. We encourage families to begin planning and purchasing appropriate items now to ensure a smooth transition.
Thank you for your support as we continue working together to keep our school safe. ❤️💙 #PatriotPride
This is a reminder that all 11th and 12th grade students will be taking the ACT on Tuesday, March 17th.
9th and 10th grade students will take the PreACT on Wednesday, March 18th.
Important: Students must be on time on testing days! Once testing begins, students will not be admitted.
ACT Resource!
This is a reminder that students may become eligible for Final Exam Exemptions during the Spring Semester. Students who earn an exemption are excused from attending on exam days, and the only way a student may earn an exemption is through the schoolwide exemption policy. Juniors and seniors will take the ACT on Tuesday, March 17, while freshmen and sophomores will take the PreACT on Wednesday, March 18. WorkKeys testing will be offered on April 1, and participating in WorkKeys testing is also a great way for students to work toward earning an exam exemption.
🌟 February Patriots of the Month 🌟
Congratulations to our February Patriots of the Month! These students have demonstrated outstanding character, leadership, and commitment both in and out of the classroom. We are proud of the way they represent our school each day through their hard work and positive attitude.
Keep up the great work. We are proud of you! ❤️💙 #PatriotPride #StudentExcellence
🌟 Shining Star of the Week: Ms. Lesley Magee!
Ms. Magee brings Patriot Pride to everything she does. In the classroom, she creates a hands-on, engaging learning environment in her Forensics classes where students are encouraged to think critically, explore, and have fun while learning.
Beyond the classroom, Ms. Magee plays a huge role in building school spirit at Liberty. She serves as our cheer sponsor and President of the Spirit Committee, constantly bringing new ideas and energy that help strengthen our school culture and Patriot pride.
Ms. Magee is always encouraging those around her to be their best, and the care and support she shows our students and faculty truly shines through in everything she does.
❤️ Thank you, Ms. Magee, for the passion and positivity you bring to Liberty every day!

🚨 Dress Code & Cellphone/Electronics/Headphone Policies 🚨
Patriots, we need your help! Dress code and cellphone use have become major concerns, and it’s important that we all work together to keep our campus safe, respectful, and focused.
Please take a moment to review the policies on page 14 of the Student Handbook (linked above). These guidelines are essential, especially when it comes to footwear, which is a significant safety issue.
Acceptable Footwear Includes:
Tennis Shoes / Sneakers
Dress Shoes
Boots
Any covered shoes
Liberty continues to offer one of the most flexible free-dress codes in the city, but that only works when everyone follows the expectations in place.
Cellphones, Electronics, and Headphones
We also need your support in ensuring students follow the rules regarding device usage. These policies help minimize distractions and maintain a positive learning environment for everyone.
Your cooperation makes a real difference. Thank you for supporting our school community and helping keep Liberty safe and focused!
2025 - 2026 Student Rights and Responsibilities Handbook
Updated Organizational Chart and Contact List
Please review the two charts provided. They outline who to contact based on specific situations, helping us address concerns more efficiently and effectively.
Following this communication flow will ensure quicker resolutions and help everyone stay informed.
A tardy is recorded any time a student is not in class by its official start time (at the start of school and during regular class changes). Late arrivals to school by student drivers or carpool do count into a student's tardy record. Student tardies accumulate throughout the full semester and consequences begin after the 3rd tardy.
Carpool starts at 6:40! Parents are not allowed to drop off before this. Wait for Mr. Shoff to start releasing for Carpool. Also, parents are not allowed to go down the lane that is reserved for student parking as indicated by the green arrows. That lane is reserved for students so they can drive into the student parking lot to park. Also, going up Pickett to try to get into the parking lot is NOT allowed at any time.
At the end of the school day during carpool, we've noticed some parents parking on the grass along LEE Drive and having their children walk to their cars. This practice is not only against school policy but also poses significant safety risks. For the safety of all students and to ensure smooth traffic flow, please refrain from parking on the grass and use the designated carpool lanes. Your cooperation is crucial in keeping our school environment safe for everyone.
Check-in/Check Out Policy Reminders
Parents cannot email or call the office after dropping the student off late to school
Students will wait in TOR until a parent comes to sign them in.
Student drivers who arrive late may have a parent email the office. Student driver must have an approved parking contract on file.
Student drivers will have driving privileges suspended upon their 3rd late arrival in the semester.
