🚨 Dress Code & Cellphone/Electronics/Headphone Policies 🚨
Patriots, we need your help! Dress code and cellphone use have become major concerns, and it’s important that we all work together to keep our campus safe, respectful, and focused.
Please take a moment to review the policies on page 14 of the Student Handbook (linked above). These guidelines are essential, especially when it comes to footwear, which is a significant safety issue.
Acceptable Footwear Includes:
Tennis Shoes / Sneakers
Dress Shoes
Boots
Any covered shoes
Liberty continues to offer one of the most flexible free-dress codes in the city, but that only works when everyone follows the expectations in place.
Cellphones, Electronics, and Headphones
We also need your support in ensuring students follow the rules regarding device usage. These policies help minimize distractions and maintain a positive learning environment for everyone.
Your cooperation makes a real difference. Thank you for supporting our school community and helping keep Liberty safe and focused!
For Selected Students Only!
Club Day will be December 9th!
Important ACT Test Dates!!
ACT Resource!
FAFSA Resource!
Ms. Magee's Forensics Class!
🧬 Spotlight on Forensics with Ms. Magee! 🧪
Our budding forensic scientists have been hard at work this week! Students are learning to apply real forensic techniques by creating a detailed identity for their “crime scene pickles” using anatomical positions.
Afterward, they’ll put their investigation skills to the test by conducting a full pickle autopsy to determine the manner of death.
This hands-on activity is a fun and memorable way for students to explore anatomy, observation skills, and forensic science methods. We’re excited to see their scientific curiosity in action!
Ms. Bonvillain's AP U.S. History Class!
🇺🇸 Spotlight on Advanced Placement U.S. History with Ms. Bonvillain! 📚
Our students are diving deep into the transformation of the “New South” from 1877 to 1898, examining how society, politics, and the economy changed and what remained the same during this important era.
During this unit, students are also developing strong historical thinking skills by learning to analyze a source’s point of view, purpose, historical situation, and intended audience. These skills help them understand not only what a source says but why it says it and how that influences the way the source can be used.
This meaningful exploration encourages critical thinking and helps students build a richer understanding of United States history.
Ms. Muse's Robotics Class!
🤖 Spotlight on Robotics! ⚙️
Our Robotics students have been hard at work designing, building, and programming their own robots. Through hands on challenges, students are learning how to problem solve, collaborate, and think like real engineers. From testing sensors to refining code, they are exploring the exciting world of STEM in action.
Each day brings new opportunities for creativity as students troubleshoot obstacles, improve their designs, and celebrate successful runs. We are proud of their dedication and we look forward to seeing how their skills continue to grow throughout the year.
🍽️ Lunch and Learn with UNO! 🎓
Our students had the exciting opportunity to participate in a Lunch and Learn session facilitated by UNO. This engaging visit gave students the chance to explore new ideas, ask questions, and learn directly from experts in a relaxed and interactive setting.
We are grateful to UNO for providing this meaningful experience that inspires curiosity, expands knowledge, and encourages students to think beyond the classroom.

Updated Organizational Chart and Contact List
Please review the two charts provided. They outline who to contact based on specific situations, helping us address concerns more efficiently and effectively.
Following this communication flow will ensure quicker resolutions and help everyone stay informed.
A tardy is recorded any time a student is not in class by its official start time (at the start of school and during regular class changes). Late arrivals to school by student drivers or carpool do count into a student's tardy record. Student tardies accumulate throughout the full semester and consequences begin after the 3rd tardy.
Carpool starts at 6:40! Parents are not allowed to drop off before this. Wait for Mr. Shoff to start releasing for Carpool. Also, parents are not allowed to go down the lane that is reserved for student parking as indicated by the green arrows. That lane is reserved for students so they can drive into the student parking lot to park. Also, going up Pickett to try to get into the parking lot is NOT allowed at any time.
At the end of the school day during carpool, we've noticed some parents parking on the grass along LEE Drive and having their children walk to their cars. This practice is not only against school policy but also poses significant safety risks. For the safety of all students and to ensure smooth traffic flow, please refrain from parking on the grass and use the designated carpool lanes. Your cooperation is crucial in keeping our school environment safe for everyone.
Check-in/Check Out Policy Reminders
Parents cannot email or call the office after dropping the student off late to school
Students will wait in TOR until a parent comes to sign them in.
Student drivers who arrive late may have a parent email the office. Student driver must have an approved parking contract on file.
Student drivers will have driving privileges suspended upon their 3rd late arrival in the semester.
