🔥Liberty Wall Street: Patriot Entrepreneurs on the Rise!
Our Patriot entrepreneurs had the chance to sell their homemade treats, handcrafted goods, bouquets, and services throughout campus. Their creativity, hustle, and innovation were on full display as the Liberty community showed up to support their work.
We were honored to welcome local business professionals to campus, who shared valuable feedback and real-world guidance with our young entrepreneurs.
This event not only highlighted the incredible entrepreneurial spirit of our students, but also reminded us of the power of giving kids a platform to dream big, take risks, and build something of their own.
Our Patriots aren’t just learning about business—they’re building it. 💙❤️
Club Day at Liberty Magnet!
From crafts to leadership, board games to robotics - our Patriots participate in clubs that match every passion and personality. Whether you’re building community with Fellowship of Christian Athletes, exploring future careers with Health Occupations Students of America, or diving into one of our many creative and social clubs, there’s always a place to belong at Liberty.
Once a month, our students get to step outside the classroom, connect with friends, discover new interests, and shine in the clubs that inspire them.
🎉 Liberty Magnet Shines With an Outstanding A Rating!
Liberty Magnet High School remains an A-rated school and proud Opportunity Honoree!
With a 110.7 A, Liberty continues to stand among the very best in our region—contributing to EBR’s highest district performance score to date.
This achievement reflects the hard work, dedication, and unwavering commitment of our teachers, students, and staff. We’re proud of how far we’ve come, and we’re even more excited about where we’re headed.
Even with such a strong score, we know the work doesn’t stop here. There is still room to grow, and we have everything it takes to reach even higher levels of success for our students.
✨ Let’s keep the momentum going, Patriots. Greatness is ahead!
✨ Teacher of the Month ✨
🎉 Teacher of the Month Spotlight: Mrs. Ashley Murphy!
Congratulations to our November Teacher of the Month, Mrs. Ashley Murphy! In addition to being an incredible science teacher, Mrs. Murphy goes above and beyond for our school community. She serves as Assistant Athletic Director, helping our student-athletes excel both on and off the field. She also leads the Biology Department, sponsors HOSA, and even launched the “Shirt Off My Back” senior athlete initiative — just one example of her commitment to Liberty’s students. We’re so grateful for all she does to make Liberty shine! ❤️💙
✨ Shining Star of the Week ✨
🌟 Shining Star of the Week: Mrs. Ullrich
We are so proud to celebrate Mrs. Kathleen Ullrich, our incredible Computer Science teacher! Mrs. Ullrich works tirelessly to ensure every student has access to computer science. She is a true champion for girls in STEM, creating pathways and opening doors where they’ve historically been left out. Her impact goes far beyond our campus—she has helped expand computer science education across Louisiana and is the first Computer Science teacher in the state to earn the Presidential Award for Excellence in Math and Science Teaching!
Thank you, Ms. Ullrich, for inspiring our students, uplifting our community, and showing what it means to lead with passion and purpose. We are so grateful for you! 💙❤️

Dress Code and Cellphone/Electronics/headphones!!!!!!!!
We need your support! Liberty offers one of the most flexible free dress codes in the city, but it’s important that we all adhere to the existing restrictions. Additionally, we ask for your help in ensuring that our policies on cellphones, electronics, and headphones are followed.
Please take a moment to review the policies in place. Your cooperation is essential to maintaining a positive school environment. Thank you for your understanding and support!
Updated Organizational Chart and Contact List
Please review the two charts provided. They outline who to contact based on specific situations, helping us address concerns more efficiently and effectively.
Following this communication flow will ensure quicker resolutions and help everyone stay informed.
A tardy is recorded any time a student is not in class by its official start time (at the start of school and during regular class changes). Late arrivals to school by student drivers or carpool do count into a student's tardy record. Student tardies accumulate throughout the full semester and consequences begin after the 3rd tardy.
Carpool starts at 6:40! Parents are not allowed to drop off before this. Wait for Mr. Shoff to start releasing for Carpool. Also, parents are not allowed to go down the lane that is reserved for student parking as indicated by the green arrows. That lane is reserved for students so they can drive into the student parking lot to park. Also, going up Pickett to try to get into the parking lot is NOT allowed at any time.
At the end of the school day during carpool, we've noticed some parents parking on the grass along LEE Drive and having their children walk to their cars. This practice is not only against school policy but also poses significant safety risks. For the safety of all students and to ensure smooth traffic flow, please refrain from parking on the grass and use the designated carpool lanes. Your cooperation is crucial in keeping our school environment safe for everyone.
Check-in/Check Out Policy Reminders
Parents cannot email or call the office after dropping the student off late to school
Students will wait in TOR until a parent comes to sign them in.
Student drivers who arrive late may have a parent email the office. Student driver must have an approved parking contract on file.
Student drivers will have driving privileges suspended upon their 3rd late arrival in the semester.
