🇺🇸 Honoring Our Heroes
On Veterans Day, Liberty Magnet High School’s Patriot Cadet Battalion hosted our annual Veterans Day Program — a heartfelt tribute to the brave men and women who have served our country. Many of our cadets had the honor of standing beside a special veteran in their lives as they were recognized for their service, creating a powerful moment of gratitude and reflection.
A sincere thank you to all who have served and continue to serve our nation with courage and integrity.
We’d also like to extend our gratitude to our JROTC faculty for organizing such a meaningful ceremony, and to our Patriot Cadet Battalion for representing Liberty with pride and respect.
Finally, a special thank you to Lieutenant Colonel David Marshall for joining us as our guest speaker and sharing his inspiring message on service, leadership, and sacrifice.
Great Season!
What a season it has been. This year will be remembered not for how it ended, but for how far we climbed. Yes, we fell just short in a score of 17 to 16 against Brother Martin in our first playoff appearance since stepping into 5A football, but that single point does not define us. Our heart, our grit, and our growth tell the real story.
We witnessed a two thousand yard running back who carried not just the ball, but the spirit of this team. We defeated Zachary High School in a game that showed exactly what we are made of. And we finished the season strong, going two wins and no losses against Scotlandville and Woodlawn, proving that this program is rising and we are not done yet.
And we cannot forget the incredible support that lifted us every step of the way. Our Band, Dance Team, Cheerleaders, and JROTC showed up with passion, pride, and unmatched energy. They were the heartbeat of every Friday night.
This season was more than wins and losses. It was a statement, a journey, and a promise of what is to come. And we are just getting started.

Updated Organizational Chart and Contact List
Please review the two charts provided. They outline who to contact based on specific situations, helping us address concerns more efficiently and effectively.
Following this communication flow will ensure quicker resolutions and help everyone stay informed.
A tardy is recorded any time a student is not in class by its official start time (at the start of school and during regular class changes). Late arrivals to school by student drivers or carpool do count into a student's tardy record. Student tardies accumulate throughout the full semester and consequences begin after the 3rd tardy.
Carpool starts at 6:40! Parents are not allowed to drop off before this. Wait for Mr. Shoff to start releasing for Carpool. Also, parents are not allowed to go down the lane that is reserved for student parking as indicated by the green arrows. That lane is reserved for students so they can drive into the student parking lot to park. Also, going up Pickett to try to get into the parking lot is NOT allowed at any time.
At the end of the school day during carpool, we've noticed some parents parking on the grass along LEE Drive and having their children walk to their cars. This practice is not only against school policy but also poses significant safety risks. For the safety of all students and to ensure smooth traffic flow, please refrain from parking on the grass and use the designated carpool lanes. Your cooperation is crucial in keeping our school environment safe for everyone.
Check-in/Check Out Policy Reminders

Students will wait in TOR until a parent comes to sign them in.
Student drivers who arrive late may have a parent email the office. Student driver must have an approved parking contract on file.
