The Maze Challenge
The Maze Challenge
Before completing the Maze Challenge you will need to learn the basics of VexCode VR. This is the platform that we will be using to program the robots. The block coding should look very similar to Coding we have used in the past.
Use this coding platform to transfer code from your computer to the robots. You will need to follow directions closely for this to work. Be sure to name your files with your name and period.
Objective: Using VexCode IQ you will be creating code for a Robot to autonomously move through a maze as fast as possible. Each version will present different challenges. The assignment will be posted in Google Classrooms. Be sure you complete and turn in the Assignment. I will also be checking your progress daily.
Constraints:
No modifications to the Robot.
No touching or moving the robot by hand.
All motion needs to be programmed.
The program must use dynamic sensor data (e.g., Distance, Color) to navigate, not just hard-coded distances.
Follow the link below to build the Robot Base with Sensors. This should be built carefully and precisely.
