Cube Challenge
Cube Challenge
Before we start building robots, we'll complete a research activity exploring what robots look like today and how they impact our world. How do robots affect our daily lives, and what might they be able to do in the future?
This is an assignment in Google Classrooms!
Objective:
In this challenge, you will work with your team to build a robot that can move as many cubes as possible from the ¨danger zone¨ to the ¨safe zone¨ doing your best to avoid the red ¨toxic waste.¨ Your job is to move as many cubes as possible in the time limit without touching the robot or the cubes.
Constraints:
Each group will get 2 min to drive the robot
There should be no touching the robot or cubes when testing
Cubes cannot go over the side.
Robots need to fit inside the opening.
Each group should have a PLAN A and PLAN B!
Follow the link below to build the Robot Base. This should be built carefully and precisely.
