Sixth-grade Technology education at East Aurora Middle School provides a hands-on, engaging introduction to the world of Technology. Students gain foundational knowledge of workshop tools and equipment, emphasizing safety and proper usage. They delve into the exciting realm of 3D modeling and design, learning to bring their ideas to life through CADD and explore 3D printing. We will work with Vex IQ robotics where students collaborate to build and program robots to complete specific tasks. Throughout the 10 week course, students explore the engineering design process, working on projects that encourage creative problem-solving and critical thinking.
