Objective:
Design a functional print in place, multi-part object that can move immediately after 3D printing without needing assembly.
Requirements:
Single Print: The object must be printed as one piece (no gluing or snapping together later).
Size Limit: Must fit within a 5"x5"x1" cube (this keeps print times under 90 minutes).
No "Floaters": Every part of the object must be connected to something else or supported by the build plate.
Clearance: Ensure there are no "accidental" touches where a cylinder meets a socket.
Projects should have at least 6 links.
Share the .stl file in Google Classrooms for it to be printed. File name MUST be your FIRST and LAST name!
TinkerCAD Set-up (Follow this video to help you set-up and create your project)
Rename file to your LAST Name and FIRST name!
Resize your "Workplane" to 5"x5"
Turn off the "Snap Grid"
Duplicate, space, and Align links accurately.
All projects MUST have your initials on the design somewhere!
Add details such as a initials, head, tail, and antenna.
Double check there are no "Floaters"
Export .stl and submit for printing by the deadline.
