What is the difference between motion graphics, a static image and a video?
Students will be able to:
Explain what motion graphics are and how they differ from static designs and video.
Use Canva’s animation tools to create visually appealing motion graphics.
Apply principles of design (balance, contrast, hierarchy, and movement) to animated media.
Export and share their motion graphic in a suitable format for social media or digital display.
Include at least 3 layers of animated elements (text, image, shape).
Demonstrate 2 or more types of animation.
Use design principles to ensure readability and aesthetic appeal.
Export and share with the teacher via Google Drive or Canva link.
Define motion graphics — graphics that use movement, text, and design to convey a message or mood (not full video storytelling).
