• Leaders are requested to give the list of the participants by 07:00 PM on 19th Jan 2026.
• March Past Judgement Criteria (30% - Discipline, 30% - Strength, Variety, Leadership and Creativity, 20% - Costume, 20% Overall Performance) (Points: First - 30 Points, Second - 20 Points, Third - 10 Points, Participation - 05 points)
• To Conduct any event there should be a minimum four participants.
• For the throw events (Javelin Throw, Discuss Throw and Short put) there will be a Senior and Junior category.
• Group Leaders, please identify the brothers of Junior category by following the given procedure [Take the weight (in Kg) and height (in CM) of each brother/Sister and if it adds up to 225 then he belongs to Junior Category, all those above 225 belong to Senior Category. [Eg. 55 kg+160 cm = 215 (Junior); 66 kg +160 cm = 226 (Senior)]
• Men can participate only in four individual events apart from the relay.
• Women can participate only in three individual events.
• Only one team of four men from each group is allowed to participate in the relay. Maximum number of Participants from each group for Track Events (100M, 200M, 600 M) - 4, Jump and Throw Events - 6.
• Only Registered group members will be allowed to participate in the events. No spot registration and substitution are allowed.
• If there is any complaint regarding the conduct of any event or result, a written appeal should be submitted to the jury of appeal within 15 minutes of completion of the items by the particular participant along with the group leader. Complaint form will be available at the pavilion.
• Officials’ decision will be final.
• The discus can only be thrown by an athlete when he or she will stand inside a circle which has a diameter of 2.5m.
• An athlete cannot touch the ground beyond the circle.
• If the athlete leaves the circle before the landing of the disc on the ground, then it will be considered as a foul throw.
• For qualification, the discus must cross the marked line. Each athlete will get one chance to throw for the qualification.
• Qualified athletes will get two more chances to showcase their talents.
• There is a particular boundary of the landing of the disc. If the disc lands outside that zone, then that throw is considered invalid.
• The distance of the throw will be measured from the radius of the circle to the point of the landing of the discus.
• The decision of the field officials will be final.
• Qualification-only 1 throw that should pass the line and tip of the javelin should touch the ground first.
• You should not fail to initiate the attempt within one minute.
• First contact with the ground should be the metal head of the javelin.
• The metal head should not land on or outside the sector lines on the first impact with the ground.
• Before the javelin hits the ground you should not touch the foul line, the run-up lines or surfaces outside those lines with any part of the body.
• You should not leave the runway before the javelin hits the ground.
• You should not exit the runway ahead of the foul line arc and extended lines.
• The decision of the in-charge will be final.
• The shot put can only be thrown by an athlete when he will stand inside a circle which has a diameter of 2.5m.
• For qualification, the shot put must cross the marked line. Each athlete will get one chance to throw for the qualification.
• Qualified athletes will get two more chances to showcase their talents.
• The shot must be released above the height of the shoulder, using only one hand.
• The shot must land inside the throwing sector.
• The athlete must enter and exit the throwing circle from the rear part.
• The resting position of the shot is near the neck and it should remain over there throughout the motion.
• The distance of the throw will be measured from the radius of the circle to the point of the landing of the shot put.
• The Athlete Should not leave the circle before the shot hits the ground.
• The decision of the in-charge will be final.
• In the case of tie, the athlete with the next best effort (distance) is declared to be the winner.
• An athlete cannot touch the ground beyond the circle.
• The Athletes will be given a second chance if he covers the qualifying distance even if he makes a foul.
• Heats and track positions of participants will be determined through a self-lotting system.
• Participants in the 100m and 200m events must stay in their designated tracks and are not allowed to cross into other tracks during the race.
• Violations of this rule will result in disqualification.
• In races with bunched starts (600 M) athletes are allowed to break inside.
• Athletes in the 600 M must overtake other runners by moving to the right side of the track.
• In the 4x100m relay, the first two participants must run in their allotted track, and all teams should exchange the baton within their allotted track. The 3rd and 4th runners can change tracks if necessary.
• If anyone intentionally causes trouble during a race, they will be disqualified.
• The starting height of the bar will be determined to accommodate all competitors.
• The height of the bar will be adjusted for each round based on the abilities of the competitors.
• Each competitor is allowed a maximum of three jumps.
• Elimination from the competition occurs after three consecutive failures, regardless of the heights at which they occur.
• Ties for first place will only be resolved by counting back. In case of a tie, the athlete with the fewest jumps at that specific height or the fewest failures, up to and including the last height cleared, will be declared the winner.
• In the event of any disputes, the decision of the designated event official will be considered final.
• The athlete will initiate their jump by running from their designated position and in a sand pit. It is crucial to observe a foul line in the run-up area.
• Any jump that takes off beyond the foul line results in a 'foul jump.'
• At take-off, no part of the athlete's foot should cross the front edge of the foul line. If any part of the foot crosses this edge, the jump is considered illegal or a 'foul jump' and will not be counted.
• Each athlete is allowed two attempts, and those who clear the cutoff mark without a violation will receive a third chance.
• All valid jumps will be accurately measured.
• The distance, or 'jump,' is measured from the front edge of the foul line to the athlete's initial point of contact with the ground.
• In case of a tie between two or more athletes, each of them will receive two additional attempts to break the tie.
• In case of any disputes, the decision of the designated event official will be considered final.
