RULES AND REGULATIONS

·  The competition is open to individual participants only; each contestant shall perform a single song.

·  Song may be presented in any language.

·  The maximum performance time is 4 minutes.

·  Performances must be rendered entirely through live singing. The use of karaoke tracks, recorded accompaniment, backing vocals, instrumental tracks, or any form of musical instrument support is not permitted.

·  Participants shall ensure that the content of the song is appropriate to the academic and cultural environment of the institution.

·  Contestants are expected to maintain proper stage decorum and demonstrate respect for fellow participants, judges, and the audience.

·  Participants must report to the venue at least 15 minutes prior to the commencement of the event.

·  The order of performance shall be determined by the organizing committee.

·  Any violation of the competition guidelines may result in disqualification.

·      The decision of the judges shall be final and binding.

JUDGEMENT CRITERIA

Melody & Pitch (20%)

Accuracy and consistency in maintaining the tune and pitch throughout the performance.

Lyrics & Pronunciation (15%)

Clarity, diction, and correct pronunciation of the lyrics.

Voice Quality (20%)

Tone, vocal control, projection, and overall richness of the voice.

Feel (Emotion) (15%)

Ability to communicate the mood and emotional content of the song.

Stage Presence (15%) `

Confidence, expression, audience engagement, and overall presentation.

Overall Impact (15%)

The overall artistic impression and effectiveness of the performance.
