RULES AND REGULATIONS
● The competition shall be conducted as an individual event.
● A single image shall be published on the official DVK LCA platform at 01:30 PM on the scheduled date.
● Participants shall carefully observe the image and compose a suitable caption based on its content and message.
● The caption shall be written in English only.
● The caption shall not exceed 30 words.
● Each participant shall submit only one caption.
● The caption must be original, creative, and relevant to the published image.
● Participants shall submit their entries through the official Google Form provided by the organizers.
● All required credentials, including the participant's Register Number and Caption, shall be entered accurately in the Google Form Provided.
● Participants shall submit their entries within 5 minutes of the image being published.
● Entries submitted after the stipulated time shall not be considered for evaluation.
● Captions containing offensive, vulgar, discriminatory, political, or inappropriate content shall be disqualified.
● The organizing committee reserves the right to reject any entry that violates the competition guidelines.
● The decision of the judges shall be final and binding.
JUDGEMENT CRITERIA
Relevance to the Image – 3 Marks
The caption should accurately reflect the content, context, and message conveyed by the published image.
Creativity and Originality – 3 Marks
The caption should demonstrate imagination, originality, and a unique perspective.
Clarity and Impact – 2 Marks
The caption should communicate its message clearly and leave a strong impression on the reader.
Language and Grammar – 1 Mark
The caption should be grammatically correct and free from spelling or language errors.
Brevity and Expression – 1 Mark
The caption should effectively convey its message within the prescribed word limit.
