RULES AND REGULATIONS

● Each house shall be permitted to field only one team.

● The team shall consist of 5 to 7 participants.

● The duration of the performance shall not exceed 7 minutes.

● The theme for the competition shall be “Connected Yet Alone” – The paradox of technological advancement and growing social isolation.

● Dialogue, speech, singing, or verbal communication shall not be permitted during the performance.

● Participants shall rely entirely on gestures, facial expressions, and body movements to communicate their message.

● The audio track shall be submitted via email in WAV format on 21.01.2027 by 06:00 pm to lca@dvk.in, with the format mime_lotno

● Costumes and makeup shall be appropriate to the theme and presentation.

● The decision of the judges shall be final and binding.

JUDGEMENT CRITERIA

Costumes – 15 Marks

Judges will evaluate the suitability, creativity, and visual appeal of the costumes.

Facial Makeup – 15 Marks

Judges will assess the effectiveness of makeup in enhancing characterization and expression.

Expression – 25 Marks

Judges will evaluate the ability to communicate emotions and ideas through non-verbal performance.

Coordination – 20 Marks

Judges will assess teamwork, timing, synchronization, and smooth execution of the performance.

Theme Presentation – 25 Marks

Judges will evaluate how clearly and creatively the team communicates the prescribed theme through mime.
