THEME: DHARMARAM VIDYA KSHETRAM

Participants are invited to creatively showcase the life, spirit, values, traditions, academic excellence, community life, achievements, and unique experiences of Dharmaram Vidya Kshetram through an engaging Instagram reel.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

● The competition shall be conducted as a group event, and each house shall be permitted to submit only one reel.

● The reel shall strictly adhere to the prescribed theme: Dharmaram Vidya Kshetram. All Instagram Reels submitted for the competition must be entirely only in English.

● The duration of the reel shall be between 60 and 90 seconds.

● The reel shall be created in vertical format (9:16 aspect ratio) suitable for Instagram Reels.

● The final video shall be submitted in MP4 format.

● Only original content created by the participants shall be accepted.

● The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools, visual effects, transitions, animations, voice generation, subtitles, and advanced editing techniques is permitted, provided the submitted reel remains original and complies with copyright regulations.

● The reel shall present Dharmaram Vidya Kshetram in a positive, creative, and meaningful manner.

● Copyrighted music, images, video clips, or other media shall not be used without proper authorization.

● Offensive, vulgar, political, discriminatory, defamatory, or inappropriate content shall result in immediate disqualification.

● Participants shall obtain the consent of individuals appearing in the reel wherever necessary.

● The completed reel shall be sent to Official DVK LCA Emailid: lca@dvk.in on 03 August 2026 (Monday) by 10:00 pm with filename Reel_Group (Ex:Reel_Red)

● All submitted reels will be reviewed by the organizing committee before publication.

● Selected entries will be uploaded to the Official DVK Instagram Page by the organizers.

● Participants shall not independently upload the competition reel to other public pages before the official publication by DVK.

● The decision of the judges and organizing committee shall be final and binding.

JUDGEMENT CRITERIA

Creativity and Originality – 25 Marks

This criterion evaluates the uniqueness and innovation of the reel. Judges will assess how creatively the participants present the theme using original ideas, storytelling techniques, and visual elements.

Relevance to the Theme – 25 Marks

This criterion measures how effectively the reel reflects the theme "Dharmaram Vidya Kshetram." Judges will evaluate whether the content consistently and meaningfully represents the spirit, life, values, and identity of the institution.

Storytelling and Message – 20 Marks

This criterion assesses the clarity, coherence, and effectiveness of the message communicated through the reel. Judges will consider how well the reel engages the audience and conveys a meaningful story or purpose.

Technical Quality and Editing – 20 Marks

This criterion evaluates the overall production quality of the reel, including video clarity, audio quality, editing, transitions, and visual presentation. Judges will also assess the effective use of digital tools and editing techniques to enhance the final output.

Overall Impact and Presentation – 10 Marks

This criterion measures the overall impression created by the reel on the audience and judges. A successful reel should be engaging, memorable, visually appealing, and capable of leaving a lasting impact.

BONUS POINTS: SOCIAL MEDIA ENGAGEMENT

Social media engagement shall be calculated exactly 72 hours after the official publication of the reel on the Official DVK Instagram page. The engagement statistics recorded by the organizing committee at that time shall be final. The following bonus points shall be awarded in addition to the marks allotted under the Judgement Criteria.
