RULES AND REGULATIONS

● Each Class shall be permitted to enter only one team.

● Participation by all classes is encouraged.

● A minimum of 10 singers shall constitute a team.

● Live instruments and recorded backing tracks may be used.

● The total performance time shall not exceed seven minutes.

● The order of performance shall be determined by lot.

● At least one Christmas carol shall be performed in English.

● Creative and meaningful theme presentation is encouraged.

● Exceeding the prescribed time limit may attract penalty marks.

● Instruments count and cable requirements are to given by 17 December 2026

● Track should be only played in the keyboard provided from the stage, track will not be played from the console

JUDGEMENT CRITERIA

Vocal Quality and Harmony – 25 Marks

Judges will evaluate the quality of singing, voice control, pitch accuracy, diction, harmony, and the overall blending of voices within the choir.

Musical Coordination and Rhythm – 20 Marks

Judges will assess synchronization among singers, rhythm, tempo control, musical balance, and coordination between vocalists and instrumentalists.

Theme Presentation and Spiritual Message – 20 Marks

Judges will evaluate how effectively the performance communicates the true spirit of Christmas, the message of Christ's birth, and Christian values.

Creativity and Stage Presentation – 15 Marks

Judges will assess the originality of the presentation, creative interpretation of carols, use of narration, choreography, formations, and other artistic elements that enhance the performance.

Costumes and Overall Appearance – 10 Marks

Judges will evaluate the appropriateness, uniformity, neatness, and visual appeal of costumes, along with the overall presentation of the choir.

Overall Impact – 10 Marks

Judges will assess the overall effectiveness of the performance in inspiring, engaging, and leaving a memorable impression on the audience and judge
