The campus and teacher playbooks are intended to provide campus leaders and district instructional staff the framework for teaching and learning in a one-to-one program. The playbooks are designed to provoke thought and help campuses make informed decisions to make the program a powerful gamechanger for the students of Duncanville ISD.
The ILCL are the campuses' first point-of-contact for student issues with mobile devices.
The student and parent guide is located on the public facing IMPACT Learning page located here: https://www.duncanvilleisd.org/departments/technology/impact-learning-student-devices
Along with the guide, parents and students will be able to find more information about the optional device device protection plan.
Special education students will receive standard devices unless the ARD committee determines that an alternate device is needed. If this occurs, the special education and technology departments will collaborate to make the appropriate accommodations. If determined by the ARD committee, the case manager will submit a ticket in IIQ that will be approved by Special Education before Technology will issue the student the device selected by the ARD committee.
