With the help of the Communications Department and District Administration, we have successfully implemented our Digital Signage through Wallboard. Each campus and district facility now has rolling building information as well as District-Wide Communications in the effort to maintain a district as one and to provide a resource for our district to Lead with Impact.
Each sign has a minimum of two signages: Building Specific and District-Wide Communications
Building Specific Signage is managed by the location and their appointed sign manager. This signage is accessed through the location's Digital Signage Google Slide that has been shared to the location's administration and appointed manager. Many buildings choose to share upcoming events, accolades, and building announcements just to name a few. The choice is yours!
District-Wide Communication Signage is managed by our district's Communications Department and plays after the building's signage. This is used to provide district notices and updates.
Q: How do I request access to edit the Google Slides presentation for my campus?
A: Each campus and building has designated an employee to manage your signs. Please speak with your campus Principal or department Director for access. If there are any issues providing this access, the Principal or department Director will need to submit a ticket through Incident IQ.
Q: One of the digital signs on my campus isn't working properly (i.e., it's blank/dark, flashing, etc.).
A: Call the Help Desk at x2300 and a technician can assist with some basic troubleshooting. If the issue cannot be resolved over the phone, a technician will be dispatched.
Q: I have access but I'm not sure how to edit Google Slides
A: Contact the Instructional Technology Coordinator for your campus. If you are unsure who that is, call the Helpdesk at x2300 and they will be able to tell you.
Q: I need help with branding or content.
A: Please reach out to the Communications Department directly.
Q: We would like an additional sign to increase communication visibility.
A: Please submit a ticket through Incident IQ attached with a picture of the location the sign is needed. The location will be evaluated and a quote will be provided for a TV, a mount, a Wallboard device, and installation. Once approved by the campus, a second Incident IQ ticket will need to be submitted to Maintenance for an electrical outlet installation in the location if one is not already present.
For any other questions, please call the Technology Helpdesk at x2300
