Using Slides & Drawings
Create drawing diagram that you want to use as your background for Google Slides. Be mindful of the page setup size of the drawing. (Use the same page setup in Drawings as you are using in Slides)
Download as JPEG or PNG. (PNG retains the transparent background)
Create a Google Slides page and match the page setup to be the same as the drawing that was created.
Add the drawing as the background.
Place text boxes and images as appropriate for students to manipulate.

Navigate to Google Drive.
Click on the “New” button.
Go to More.
Select Google Drawing.
Name your drawing. Do this you can click on “Untitled drawing” (in the upper left corner) and give it a name.
Set page dimensions first. If you decide to resize the page after you have images on the page, it will skew the images.
Go to File.
Page Setup.
Custom and set page dimensions.
Set background color fext. If you want it to be transparent, then skip this step.
Right click on background.
Select background.
Select color desired.
