Jaycie Parker

About Me: 

I am so excited to be your child's Kindergarten Teacher this year.  This is my 20th year teaching and I have spent all of those years in DSISD.  I attended The University of Texas at Austin and graduated in 2003 with a Bachelors of Science in Applied Learning and Development and Childhood Studies.  

Teaching Kindergarten is truly one of my passions.  I love watching kids learn and grow.  I strongly believe that Kindergartners learn through play and social interactions with each other.  

My other passion is my family.  My husband, Daniel and I have 2 kids, a daughter, Presley,  who is in 8th grade and a son, Gage who is in 4th grade this year.
