About Me: 

Hey Tigers! This is my 8th year teaching, second year as a dyslexia specialist. I am currently working to obtain my Academic Language Practitioner Certification. I am passionate about learning how the body and brain work, as well as helping others find joy in reading. 

Prior to working at Walnut, I worked at DSE as a 2nd grade teacher, and in Corpus Christi as a 3rd grade teacher. I was born and raised in San Diego, CA, but have lived in Texas for 9 years. I've lived in San Antonio, Corpus Christi, and finally landed in my dream town of Dripping Springs. My husband and I have a 3 year old son, Everett, and a German Shepherd, Apollo. In my free time I enjoy spending being with my family and friends, baking, and exploring new places.
