About Me: 

Welcome to First Grade! I am so excited to be on this learning journey with you and your children!

This is my first year teaching in the district, but I have been an educator for 22 years. I began teaching Pre K at a private learning center in 2000 and taught there throiughout the years as my own children reached preschool ages. My husband and I share 3 wonderful daughters. Jordan (20) is an amazing para here at Walnut, Camryn (17) is entering her senior year at a private academy, and our "baby" Brayden (11) is here at Walnut for her fifth grade year. I followed Brayden to Walnut Springs when she started Kindergarten as a para and I spent 4 1/2 wonderful years in Special Education supporting in our ACC and STARS classrooms. One of the most important things to me is creating a welcoming, inclusive, safe space for all students to feel confident in growing and reaching their full potential.
