About Me: 

Welcome to Mrs. Cook's fourth grade class!  I am so excited to be your teacher this year! I love teaching, learning, reading, exploring the world, and working with children. I grew up in the very cold and windy Chicago area! While I loved my home state, I decided move to Texas in 1998 to attend school.  I graduated from Texas State University in 2004, Summa Cum Laude.  I married my sweetheart, David, in 2003.  We have 2 beautiful daughters and 1 stubborn rottweiler.  It's hard to believe myself, but I am entering my 19th year teaching fourth grade, 20th in all!  Fourth grade is a year full of exciting events and learning opportunities. Our students will be challenged, given choice, and opportunities for growth and success!
