About Me: 

Hi! I am so excited to be your child's first grade teacher this year! This is my third year teaching, and my second year teaching first grade at WSE. I am passionate about building relationships with my students and highlighting their growth throughout the year. 

I studied Elementary Education at Texas State University (Go Bobcats!) and am currently working towards my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction through Grand Canyon University. My certifications include the Science of Teaching Reading, English as a Second Language, Reading Academy, and Gifted and Talented.

I have an incredible husband who keeps me sane and the best dog in the world! In my free time, I love reading thriller novels, serving at our church, and spending time with friends and family. 

I am so thankful to be part of the Walnut Springs Community, and am looking forward to a wonderful year!
