About Me: 

Hi! I am thrilled to be at Walnut for my second year! Teaching your child about the wonderful world of music is truly my passion, and I feel honored that I am able to share that with all of Walnut. 

My musical background started with elementary music in Pittsburgh PA (let's go Steelers!). I found my home in band playing the trumpet, which brought me life changing experiences all the way through college and beyond. 

I hold a Bachelors of Science in Ecology and Evolution from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelors of Music with K-12 teacher certification from Texas State University, summa cum laude. I was lucky enough to have student taught in the Drip and I am so thankful to be apart of this incredibly supportive community! 

In my free time, I enjoy running, rock climbing, and spending time with family. I am a member of the Wimberly Hill Country Band and am always looking for opportunities to create music with others. I cannot wait to see what the 23-24 school year has in store for us!
