About Me: 

The 2023-2024 marks my 16th year in elementary education! This will be my 4th year teaching 5th grade ELA at Walnut Springs! I have taught in Oregon, California & now Texas. I absolutely love teaching, and I am so excited to share my passion for reading and writing with my students.

I met my husband in college and we've been married 24 years! We have one son and two daughters. Our youngest is starting middle school at Sycamore Springs and other daughter is a sophomore at Dripping Springs High School. Our oldest son is starting his freshman year at San Diego State University. We also have a  labradoodle named Camden who I absolutely adore. I love to walk, run, and travel. I have completed 19 1/2 marathons and 3 marathons! I am looking forward to an excellent school year.
