Welcome to the best grade in the world! I'm Denise Thomas and I teach fifth grade science and social studies. I grew up in New York and moved to Texas in 1992 to work as a graphic artist. While doing art, I went to the University of Texas to pursue a degree in education. This is my 31st year in the classroom! I'm married to Scott Thomas and have an 18 year old son named Cole who attends Texas A&M. I am thrilled to work at Walnut Springs Elementary and I am so grateful to have, what I believe as, the best job in the world! I am excited to work with you, and get to know each and every one of you better.
