English Assignment #1
Our ELA teacher Mr. Swarn had us reading Romeo and Juliet for a while. To test our knowledge on certain scenes in Romeo and Juliet. We could pick any scene we wanted from the play that we have read so far and pick a song that fits the overall mood and actions of the scene. All students presented their soundtrack to their respective classes, my soundtrack was received very well by my class.

The Shakespeare KWL (know, want to know, and learned) was to allow our teacher to get a grasp of how much the students knew about Shakespeare before and after watching a documentary on him.

After reading the play " A Raisin in the Sun" we had to write a letter as a character in the play to another character in the past, i chose the topic of what to do with the $10,000 they get in the play. and chose to send my letter to the character "Mama."

In ELA we had to create an argumentative essay based on a controversial topic, I chose the topic of to defund the police or not to defund the police. My essay touched on topics such as over patrolling majority minority areas and taxation by citation. My teacher had to say that my essay really caught his attention and did a good job as an argumentative essay.
English Assignment #5
While reading the famous book "Lord of the Flies" we had to draw and annotate the island the kids from lord of the flies are stuck on. At the time I missed a few classes due to sickness so i had to study up heavily on the island before drawing.

The book "Lord of the Flies" has aspects of both utopian and dystopian societies. In this assignment we looked at aspects of both utopian and dystopian societies then we described them and but quotes from the book to prove the connections.
Geometry Assignment #1
In advertisements for many products they use misleading statistics. During our stats and probability unit we had to create a misleading advert ourselves. I chose batting average, using technically correct statistics that dont fully show the truth. Hidden factors changing the percentages give off a different idea than what is right.
Geometry Assignment #2
In geometry class we watched the movie "woman in motion" which shows important woman in nasa playing vital parts in the space race. Doing things like challenging math that's never been done. Aswell as recruiting many people from all aspects of life to join nasa.
Geometry Assignment #3
As a class we split up into groups and did 5 extremely difficult questions on parallel lines. First group to complete the escape room received extra credit and other rewards aswell. My group ended up being the first to complete the escape room.

In my group of 3, we took on the challenge of finding the statistics that makeup food deserts, finding a solution for food deserts, and pointing out real-life examples of food deserts. We presented the PowerPoint for this in class in front of all our peers.

was meant to show how osmosis affects things on a scale we can see.

for unit 5 we had to study cellular respiration. Using guided notes we filled out 8 pages of all the info we will need on cellular respiration.

We watched a video about how grey wolves being reintroduced to the Yellowstone national park saved the park from many things scientists thought we wouldn't be able to fix. We answered 20 questions related to this event.

We played a fun informational game about marine habitats called wake. The game was well made and this assignment was for extra credit.

Another go formative this time was about high and high density of things like population and ecosystems. we answer 25 questions about this.

we wrote 5 paragraphs on a biology related ethical topic. my topic was about if human with birth defects should be born. I touched on topics like taxxes mental healthy and safety of the mother.

we all created a one pager that contained information about many things including images of what we chose to talk about. A poem is one example of the many things we put to convey information.

for unit 2 we had to make a digital notebook containing all the unit 2 information about one country. the country i was assigned was japan who is very unique so i was excited to do the note book on such a note worthy country.

We had 45 minutes to answer 25 questions about the world with a partner. all the questions were about countries and continents. this was our first project to see how well we knew our world.

Project was about making a google slides presentation centered around a social media influencer. We had to show off their content, view statistics, subscriber count, ad revanue, and sponsor ships.

We had a PBL at the end of the year where in tinker cad we had to make something that can be used in AR. I chose to make a stick of dynamite which, for growth represents the quick expansion and growth of the explosion then suddenly it stops and dies out. the explosion leaves a permanent mark on the earth so everyone knows how it grew.

this is an animation I made for the PBL aswell. it shows the growth of a little seedling into a big pine tree from being dropped by a bird to the actual growth process. it was played during the PBL and was view by hundreds of people.

For the PBL once again we had to create more art, but because it is a technology class we and to use artificial intelligence to create these art pieces. these images show an image of growth
Tech Assignment #6
had to code a video game where you shoot satellites while avoiding asteroids. Using help from a tutorial and block code allowed us to simply make this relatively complex game that we would not be able to make without help.
Spanish Assignment #1
In spanish class our teacher had us study many different vocabulary words for "la casa y la cuidad." The final project for the unit was drawing our own house professionally and name all the rooms in spanish. This assignment challenged my vocabulary skills, the drawing allowed me to connect more to the rooms and understand the words well enough to imprint them into my mind.

Spanish Assignment #2
during our la casa/ la ciudad unit we had 40 vocabulary words to remember. We all created 2 power points containing all 40 of the vocab words, their translations, and a photo of them.

For our la familia unit we wrote 6 connected sentences about our family at home. My sentences were about things like my dogs names, who is in my family, and my family's names. My teacher Mrs. Fernandez was very proud of my 6 sentences.

Me and my partner in this assignment thought out 6 sentences containing activities that we like to do or that we have done. We were to style the sentences in a conversation style. This assignment was a good review for the stamp test.

we had to write 4 sentences about common activities in our life when we were younger and illustrate them on a index card. my sentences were about soccer, reading, bicycling, and hide and seek.
