The "Polynomial Photo Project" is a project for Algebra II. In the project I picked a photo from the internet to create a graph that traces an emphasized path in the photo. I chose a picture of the Colorado river from above. The graph was made in demos using a table of points I set. using an equation with variables that represent the points in the table I was able to create a graph that best fits the table I created. The real main part of the project was to find the statistics of the graph. For example the zeros and y intercept were a requirement for the statistics we had to find. there were others for example the axis of symmetry of the graph.
we used the data we collected in chemistry class about the percent of each color in a skittles pack. i made 3 drawings using the elements and principles aswell as some kind of uniquely made graph hiden in each image. each image shows the data and also looks apealing to the eye.
My chemvas art was made using only images off of google and a brush found on sketch.io
For the "ChemVas Typography" project we used online images of items we use in both chemistry and art. In a application called "sketchpad" we took online images and changed them to form the letters of the name of the class, this is called typography
For this project we had to research many different cultures and the Columbian exchange. The end goal of the project was to have a table setting with all the items relating to the Colombian exchange and some of the cultures we researched. Each culture has its own significant symbols and reoccurring theme. I did allot for research on the Greek culture for pottery and the native American culture for pottery and the native American symbols were important in our final table setting. My personal contributions were with the bowl and the plate. Me and another one of my groupmates worked on the bowl together and for the plate I was the one that chose its color and glazed it. Another thing in our final table setting was a spear which could be used as a knife or fork. The Columbian exchange itself heavily revolved around food, food was the thing that was changed the most because of it.
