This piece is very nice it reminds me of like a Brandee Younger vibe. I really like the melody. The challenging part is going to try not to get bored because it is very repetivite. 

Charlie Brown Medley 10/12/24

I am unsure if I have ever listen to this but I love Charlie brown from what I heard my classmates sing its going to be slow and chromatic. I think hardest part is going to be the waltz but I am very excited to play this!! 

Harp - Listening to Playful Pizzicato

I think this piece is going to sound swung and fast. I think that we are going to do quick muffles and the techniques used in Fire Dance by Watkins.

1st Listen - It sounded like a call and repeat and  am very excited to play this piece. I am very surprised there is no extended technique like xylophone.

2nd Listen -  I think this piece is very do-able

"Argonaise" and "Habanera" from Carmen

I think is going to sound like a remix of Habanera Gris. I think the tempo is going to be quite fast. 

Prelude - was a very soft sounding and sounds like similar orchestra pieces and sounds agressive.

Argonaise- I really like this piece. To me it sounds a little like a Spanish Waltz

Oprea-  I love watching Flamengo dance and I liked how the stomping and clapping was going really well with the music

Today in ChemVAS we watched a video about Fullers idea learned about how different people used to make art. Then, after we watched a video in Spanish and learned more about Fullers idea from a ted Talk. Then we went out side and practiced the Charles law which is Charles' law is an experimental gas law that describes how gases tend to expand when heated.

What is Borax? 

Borax is a powdery white substance, also known as sodium borate, sodium tetraborate, or disodium tetraborate. It's widely used as a household cleaner and a booster for laundry detergent. It's a combination of boron, sodium, and oxygen. 

Why do you boil borax?

Borax is more soluble in hot water than in cold water, which is why we mixed the borax with boiling water.This solution is supersaturated, that means the water is holding even more Borax than it normally would because the water has been heated 

What happens as the water cools? 

Borax forms crystals because borax particles are dissolved in water as soon as they are heated. 

How is your 3D sculpture?

My sculpture is a flower with yellow and red pedals with a green stem.

1/3/24 - Harp Concerto for 2 harps-

This piece is very beautiful. I like the ending.  My goal for this pieces is to make sure that my forth fingerer does not roll off when I am playing the scales

A Mandala is a geometric shape that is often used for that represents Hindu and Buddhist.  Mandalas are often used , as a  symbolic diagram used in the performance of sacred rites and as an instrument of meditation.      

9/21/23 Science in Engineering class

On a flat surface with no acceleration normal force is proportional to Force of gravity. The Equation is Fn= mg and the 2nd Law of Newtons proves this. It says that normal force will also be perpendicular to gravity. The direction that the force of friction is acting when my robot is trying to move forward is the force of friction is also forward. This is because the force of friction is going against the wheels force. The equation that is used for Friction of force is Ff = μ k FN. I can prototilize my weight on my robot and I can also Change my materials I'm using.
