My name is Alexandra Price, and I have been a dedicated student at Drew Charter School since the fifth grade. Over the years, I have grown both academically and artistically, developing a strong passion for music and performance. In the fall, I will be attending Bard College and Conservatory, where I plan to further pursue my studies and refine my craft.

My journey has been shaped by discipline, creativity, and a deep commitment to excellence. As a leader, I have taken initiative in both my academic and artistic communities, supporting my peers, contributing to collaborative environments, and helping to create spaces where others can grow alongside me. These experiences have strengthened my confidence, communication skills, and sense of responsibility.

Through my experiences, I have learned the value of hard work, collaboration, and giving back to the community that has supported me. 

Looking Ahead

In the fall, I will be attending Bard College and Conservatory on a full-tuition Posse scholarship. I plan to major in harp performance and biology. With these degrees, I aspire to become a professional harpist while expanding access to classical music in rural communities, particularly for Black and Brown audiences who are often underrepresented in the arts. In addition, I hope to pursue a career in orthodontics, combining my passion for science with my commitment to serving and uplifting my community.
