This empowerment fist collage represents the strength and resilience of the LGBTQ+ rights movement. It features bold images of activists like Marsha P. Johnson and Harvey Milk, who fought fearlessly for equality and visibility. Scenes from the Stonewall riots and Pride parades capture the spirit of protest and celebration that defines the movement. The inclusion of slogans like “SILENCE = DEATH” and “Gay Rights Are Civil Rights” highlight the urgency of fighting injustice, especially during the AIDS crisis and ongoing struggles today. The rainbow colors running through the fist symbolize unity, pride, and the power of community.

The country faced conflicts over slavery and Native American lands, including events like the Indian Removal Act. Also, new inventions and reforms, like the Second Great Awakening, shaped American society and culture.
