Unveiling the Vibrancy of Navratri and Garba

Imbibing the values and Indian tradition within the students is an integral part of the vision of DPS Lava, Nagpur. On October 20th 2023, DPS Lava buzzed with festive fervour, as the school celebrated Navratri and Dusshera with vibrant enthusiasm. The day began with a mesmerising Ram-Leela performed by enthusiastic teachers, which left the students spellbound. The festivities continued with the ritual of Raavan Dahan, symbolising the victory of good over evil. 

Adding to the excitement, an inter-house Garba competition was held. It featured students from grades II to XII. The atmosphere was electrifying, filled with the beats of traditional music. The event didn’t just involve students; parents also participated actively, showcasing their enthusiasm and support. Students and parents were dressed in vibrant and eye-catching attire, reflecting the spirit of the occasion. Amidst the high energy, the competition was zealous in which Service House (Blue) emerged victorious, capturing the first position. Following were  Harmony House(Green) and Wisdom House (Yellow), securing the second and third places, respectively. The day was marked as a joyous memory in the hearts of students, where cultural learning and togetherness blended.
