Life may often seem difficult but never stop
Always try...
Change may seem unacceptable but remember it can transform
you Just like a caterpillar into a butterfly...
Sometimes you may feel sad and would want to cry....
Life may take your exam, but remember that it is preparing you
To fly and soar into the infinite sky...
Never give up when you fall, just get up
And give it your best shot
You will definitely rise high!

Every Thursday, the teachers of the Mathematics Department from DPS Varanasi, Nashik, and Lava Nagpur interact and present their lesson plans over a Google meet. This is an initiative of Mr. Siddharth Rajgarhia, Director DPS Nashik .
I presented the topic Addition for Grade 3, on Thursday, 1st October 2020. This was the first time for me and I was both nervous and enthusiastic.
I presented the way I teach in the classroom. Everyone appreciated the visual components of my Presentation, the starter activity, the low floor - high ceiling questions, and especially the building skills with real fruits and real-life examples. It was a learning experience.
I feel enriched as the suggestions and comments of my fellow teachers gave me avenues for further exploration.
I share some glimpses of this Math Department Meet.

A Gentle sway of her hand
Brought torrential rains on my cheeks,
The sunflower dress full of mud
Her locks disarray from the hours in the creek
“Spare me” I pleaded. My girl is not dead
The wily guard dragged me ahead
The windowless passage smelled of death
Resonated with the sounds of blood
Icy cold rushings slowly to tighten your breath
I carried, pushed, pleaded with the final prayers.
I walked a few distance to embrace
The final call ,to cry the last grace
As the tides slapped the coast
I cut myself deep a sliver.
A gull above the waters screeched violently
Will gain
I felt life snuffing out of my child in pain
My child drowned, I was blamed
I ran, I hid, wounded but nobody’s claim
Riding the horse of freedom, was chased by concerns
Galloped off the cliff with nobody’s sermons
In the pretentious miff ,nobody won.
The final call and I was gone
As I breathed one last time, with glee
Her face lit up “ Mother, set me free”
