This grant has given us the opportunity to narrow the gap between socioeconomic disadvantaged students and access to new technology and wireless internet access. Students now have an opportunity to be 21st century students and teachers have the tools to affect learning with new tools. There is now an opportunity to see beyond our communities and become global citizens collaborating with students across the globe.

As a VILS Instructional Technology Coach, my goal is to ensure all teachers are supported and successful in supporting student learning with technology, regardless of existing levels of mastery.  Through the collaboration of the school’s Instructional Leadership Team, faculty, and community members, we will create and support initiative outcomes and individual school goals that leverage technology and provide equitable, accessible, and inclusive learning experiences for all stakeholders.
