Third Grade 

K-3, General Music, 30 minute classes on a rotating schedule year round.  There will be one grade level performance at the Deforest HS Performing Arts Center.

In Third Grade, students will learn:

• All rhythms and note durations (counting with numbers, whole-sixteenth notes & rests )

• Treble Clef notes on the staff (reading music)

• Play Recorders (provided by the district)

• Singing rounds and partner songs

• Play various pitched and unpitched percussion instruments 

• Musical games and activities
