Animal Science is a two-semester dual credit course designed to prepare students for animal-related careers. In Wisconsin 1 out of every 10 jobs is in agriculture, many animal related. This class is designed to help students explore and develop an understanding of animal production, physiology, and anatomy.
Materials that will be covered in the first semester include the importance of livestock, animal safety, animal anatomy and physiology and more!
The second semester will cover animal reproduction, animal nutrition, swine, beef, sheep, goats, horses, dairy and more!
